Russ Kyncl


Russ grew up on the plains of Northeastern Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado with honors, and has lived in the Denver area since 1977.

He and his wife Diane live in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. They have three grown children.

Russ has worked in financial services since 1984. He particularly enjoys helping individuals plan for their financial security and the inheritance they will leave their loved ones. Russ also helps business owners plan for their exit from their companies when they decide it's time to cash out and move on.

Russ served on the board of COMPA Food Ministry for 12 years. Russ and his wife Diane support Third Way, a residential treatment program for at risk teenagers that is an alternative to homelessness, incarceration or psychiatric hospitalization. They are dedicated classroom volunteers and supporters at Pedro Arrupe Jesuit, an inner city high school in Denver, Colorado.  Russ also volunteers as a Reflector in the Ignatian Volunteer Corps in Denver.

Russ is a frequent speaker and workshop presenter on the topics of inheritance planning, philanthropic planning and wealth management. His most popular talk to date is titled "Visions to Do Good: The Personal Philanthropy of Benjamin Franklin."

Russ holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and the CKA designations.
